Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days, after which we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Warranty Period
Warranty categories:
New units
- Electronic circuit boards including components, controls, transformers and connectors (3 years)
- Tubes and optical cells (60 days)
- Chassis and physical housing (72 hours after delivery)
- Repair labor (3 year)
DIY
- Due to the nature of the product we do not offer returns on any DIY parts or kits.
Claim steps
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, please attach this in your email claim.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer before submitting a warranty claim.
In order to start the process you will need to contact us over email or WhatsApp.
After a claim has been filed we will instruct you with a shipping address. Please pack up the unit carefully to ensure no damages occur during shipping.
Once received our technicians will asses the damages and order the appropriate replacement parts (if they are not on hand).
Your unit will be repaired and tested, and finally returned to you with a courier service.
Exceptions
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Obvious signs of use
- Any units that have been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Shipping damages
You have 72 hours to claim any damage during shipping. Failure to claim the goods damaged in the first 72 hours of receipt will not be eligible for warranty.
We strongly recommend that you inspect your equipment when the courier drops it off.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping, including any shipping costs for warranty repairs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We do not control the time that each financial institution takes to issue the refunds.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Labor
HoneyBadger Audio will cover the labor of warranty repairs for a period of 1 year from time of purchase. This is only covered at a certified repair center and is not covered for any third party repair centers. After the period of 1 year HoneyBadger Audio will only cover the parts, clients are responsible for any labor costs involved in the repair, maintenance and replacement of their equipment.
Payments
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please double check your bank account.
Contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Contact your bank as each bank has a different processing time for refunds.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale and discounted items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {info@honeybadgeraudio.com} and we will let you know the next steps to take.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
ONLY ship your product, after a return authorization has been given.
DEPOSITS AND HOLDS
We do accept deposits for holding sale items and reserving pre-sale units. The deposits are €200 and are required to hold any items. Due to the nature of deposits, they are non-refundable and are transferrable for other purchases should you have a change of mind.
