The 1176 is known for its speed in compressing transients. Our version of the 1176 limiter is a faithful recreation of the original design. Included is a main PCB and a companion PCB to mount the CM3303 input transformer. We also included a multi pin connection for various size film capacitors. The main PCB has an option to add the resistors for a rotary switch, making installation and wiring the unit much easier.
Calibrating the 1176 main board is a relatively easy process and can be done with only a multi-meter.
